So Many Changes!
We just got our ABC license and we are so excited! Beginning Weds., we will have beer (on and off) and wine (off only) available for our customers! We'll have everyone's favorite brands plus some hard to find ones as well. As for wine, we are selling local brands as we really try to support the local community!
Starting April 10, we will begin selling fresh baked bread by Montana Gold located in Richmond, Va. This bread is wonderful and you'll have a chance to sample it at our Grand Opening on Sunday, April 13th. Also, at that time, our Produce Stand will open -- how exciting!
We got the Va. Lottery last Friday and we've already had several winners for the scratch-offs!o

New Additions!
This week has brought about many changes! We've added several new items to our menu, got more merchandise in and now have the Virginia Lottery! We also got our new awning installed which looks great!

Our new awning gets installed today, we are so excited! Now the outside will look as nice as the inside! The response to the inside and the improvements we've made has been overwhelming.
Our Orange Cake from Laura's Confections has really taken off. We've seen customers who have ordered a slice come back and buy an entire cake! Laura's Confections is owned by a friend of ours in Richmond, Va and she bakes for country clubs and restaurants in Richmond. Of course, we have her cakes exclusively in the Fredericksburg area! We'll begin bringing in her pies (all made by scratch of course) in the next several weeks.

It is wonderful seeing repeat customers already -- some making their 3rd or 4th visit back to Capt. Jack's after being open only two weeks! We are trying to learn everyone's names but it's hard sometimes.
This weekend we have oysters in the shell and the pint along with our famous red crab soup now available in quarts!
We just got in a new shipment of gift merchandise including lobster pitchers, platters and plates. These items are great for entertaining and are attractively priced!
We also got in a large selection of fun, colorful jewelry including bracelets, earrings and necklaces -- all starting at only $2.99 each!
